Everything Lisa Oliver writes is an automatic one click for me. I love her stores, her characters and the worlds that she has created and it was so lovely to see that Maddison finally got his own HEA. He was definitely one of my favourite side characters from the Cloverleah series.
I was so happy to read this book because you got 2 stories in 1. It was fun to read about death and his so. All of what the differences are and all the things that are the same. Father and son finding they true loves is really awesome and how no matter your past love is always around the corner. It's a great book and beginning to a series.
Good start to this new series, a Spin off from the cloverleah series. It was shorter than I anticipated but I also really enjoyed the bonus book at the end.
In this one we have Madison and Sebastian. As seen in the last cloverleah book , they did not get off to a great start. I didn't mind rehashing this as I'm a chronic re reader and this saved me having to re read the last book.
I liked Madison in this one, he stood up for himself and it was good to know his back story.
Looking forward to the next one in the series
I am so going to enjoy this series. Madison surprised me in so many ways. I'm happy that he didn't go running, to Sebastian the idiot. Once Sebastian got his head right, I loved how he went about getting his mate. Now Cody I wasn't so sure about him at first. With him leaving the way he did, I thought for a moment that he was a partner with the crazy man. But I know better now. Thanato unlike his son wanted his mate, and went after him. I felt so bad for Cody but I'm happy he didn't fight with his mate. And is now very happy. I'm looking forward to more from this series.
This book is the first book in the Cloverleah spinoff - The Gods Made Me Do It. I love Lisa Oliver's books. This one was no different. This can be read as a standalone but I do think you get just a little extra something if you read Cloverleah first. I have always had a soft spot for Madison and he does not disappoint in this one. Trying not to spoil anything but if you love fated mate stories, you will really enjoy this one - an under appreciated and under valued wolf coming into his own and getting his due. The bonus short was very sweet as well. Probably one of the few time you will say I really loved Death. Looking forward to more of this series.
This is a spinoff of the Cloverleah Pack series , fell in love with those sexy men and now to meet more. We meet 2 characters that do things to cause problems with others to truly hide the pain they are feeling inside. Sebastian has kept all a far distance from himself after he lost his true love centuries ago. When fate decides that it is time for Sebastian to have his true mate, things will not fall in line the way supposed to. Madison has his own little ways to things and when he meets his mate, the happiness soon falls to angst. Can these two get over there past history and make their mating the best? Can wait to see and read more in this series. Highly recommend this book
Two stories. First about Madison, Damien and Scott's PA, and Sebastian, son of Thanotos (Greek mythology, look it up). Sebastian is a stubborn, moody, grumpy mofo that you just want to slap repeatedly in the beginning. He gets better but yeah, just Aaaaaaaaaarrrrggg. The Awwwwww is the second one with Cody and Thanotos (I really don't know if I'm spelling it right, sorry). Cody is a sub who was on Damien's roster. He's one of boys abused and trained by the sicko guys from Scott and Damien's book, but not the ones in the fire. He's from a previous group. You'll need to read Book 3 in the Cloverleah series to be introduced to Madison and Cody. But Cody gets a hot god and an everlasting life to make awesome memories to drive out the bad ones. His Thanny is so sweet to him.
"Get Over It" delivers the goods! This book is the first in a spin-off from Lisa Oliver's Cloverleah Series. You can read this book by itself but I heartily recommend reading the entire Cloverleah series first because that is when you will first meet Madison. And what a character he is. I still chuckle at the scene when he threw Scott out of Damien's apartment (this occurred in Cloverleah book 3 "When No Doesn't Cut It"). In that book the reader gets a good introduction to Madison and in subsequent books more is revealed about Madison especially "On the Brink". The spin off book gives the reader the back story on Madison and all of his trials and troubles he went thru in his life before he gets his HEA. While I have always enjoyed Madison in the other books, "Get Over It" made me really love Madison. His sass, strength, feistiness, and his decision to respect himself made this book a really enjoyable read. I am a very devoted fan of Lisa Oliver's writing and ability to tell a story. And to weave all of the stories together so that the reader continues to be immerse in this delightful world of wolves, bears, cats, fea, djinn, vampires and gods is truly a gift. I have read Lisa's books over and over and each time I still end up delighted.
